SACRAMENTAL DATES
The children will receive the Sacraments on the following dates:
Sacrament of Reconciliation (First Confession)
There will be a service of Reconciliation for everybody on Thursday 15th March with the sacrement in groupson -17th, 24th or 31st March
The children will make this Sacrament individually
(10 or 11 children each week)Sacrament of Confirmation
Saturday 19th May at 10.30pm
Sacrament of Holy Eucharist (8 children each week)
Sunday 10th, 17th, 24th June or 1st July

Reconciliation
There will be a special service in church that will last about half an hour. The children should be accompanied by their parents. They will wear school uniform. They will receive the Sacrament on one of the following Saturdays.Confirmation
This will also take place at a special service in church and should last just over an hour. Each child will need a sponsor, ideally a godparent. The children will have chosen a Saints name in school. The girls will wear white dresses and head-dresses, but no veils. The boys will wear grey trousers, white shirts and a red tie available from school.
Holy Eucharist
The girls will wear white dresses, head-dresses and veils (optional). The boys will wear grey trousers, white shirts and red ties. First Communion medals will be worn, on pins for boys and ribbon for around the girl's necks. The children will be presented with their certificates at this Mass.
GROUP PHOTOGRAPHS AND VIDEOS ARE NOT ALLOWED DURING ANY OF THE SERVICES.
This is a directive from Salford Diocese as a result of Child Protection Issues. Father Cribben will be happy to be photographed with individual children or families after the First Communion Mass.
Communion Breakfast organised by parents.
Red Ties
These are for the boys and are printed with the year that the children made their sacraments. They will be available for purchase from school nearer the time; a letter will be sent from school.
